Exodus is named after the biblical account of God leading His people out of oppression.
This ministry reflects that same truth, not the event itself, but the heart of a God who still makes a way out.
Exodus exists for a sacred and urgent moment:
when a woman must leave to protect her life and the lives of her children.
This ministry was created with deep care and wisdom, recognizing that safety, confidentiality, and simplicity are essential. Exodus does not attempt to do everything. Instead, it offers what can be given safely, without increasing risk.
“The Lord goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
Exodus is for women who:
You are not alone.
God sees you.
And your life matters.
Exodus offers limited but intentional support, designed with survivor safety at the center.
Each Exodus Bag is prepared
to help meet immediate
personal needs when a woman leaves suddenly.
Depending on availability, bags may include:
These bags are meant to restore dignity,
not create dependency or exposure.
Exodus is faith centered.
We provide:
Prayer is always offered respectfully
and never forced.
For the safety of survivors and volunteers, Exodus does not offer:
Your safety comes first.
If you are in immediate danger,
please contact local emergency services.

Exodus was created from a place of lived experience and deep compassion. I am a survivor of domestic violence, and I understand the fear, uncertainty, and courage it takes to leave.
This ministry was born 4 years ago out of prayer and grace to offer something small yet meaningful in a moment that can feel overwhelming. Exodus exists to remind women that even in the act of fleeing,
God is present, protective, and near.
If you are reading this while preparing to leave, know that you are seen, you are loved, and you are not walking alone.
The same God who led His people out still goes before you today.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you."
Isaiah 43:2
